 Now living in Portland, Oregon in an 1890 Queen Anne Victorian-style house, the Barnetts are originally from Jackson, Mississippi. All members of our family are world travellers. Buzz works in Australia for a major oil exploration company. He has worked in such diverse locations as: Argentina, Chile, the Falklands, Africa, Singapore, Malaysia, California, the Gulf of Mexico, New Zealand, and Australia.

graduated from Reed College with a BA in English and works for the
public library system. She began graduate school in September 1999,
which won't leave much time for travelling--she has been to Europe, the
former Soviet Union (in 1987), and many places in the USA--but she

Brett graduated from Tulane University with a BS in Anthropology. He works for an international organization and lives in Geneva, Switzerland. When he is not at work, one can find him driving throughout Europe with friends, running cross-county, snow-skiing, scuba diving, and Irish dancing. He speaks fluent French and Learn spanish in Spain.
